The Mission

Grand Action 2.0 is a not-for-profit economic development organization.  Its primary mission is to: identify downtown and adjacent neighborhood building and transformational capital intensive projects, galvanize public opinion and support, leverage public/private investments and formulate and implement funding strategies including securing private sector funding in support of request for primary public sector funding.

Venue & Attraction Development For Grand Rapids

CSL’s recommendations with respect to three projects important to the future vitality of Grand Rapids and the surrounding area: DeVos Place Convention Center, potential development of a multi-purpose soccer stadium and large-scale amphitheater.

Legacy Projects

Grand Action’s original objectives were to identify downtown building and revitalization projects, to galvanize public opinion and support for these projects, and to design and implement funding strategies for each projects, including securing enough private sector support to guarantee funding from existing public funds.
