The Mission
Grand Action 2.0 is a not-for-profit economic development organization. Its primary mission is to: identify downtown and adjacent neighborhood building and transformational capital intensive projects, galvanize public opinion and support, leverage public/private investments and formulate and implement funding strategies including securing private sector funding in support of request for primary public sector funding.

The Acrisure Amphitheater's First Concert Will Be on Friday, May 15, 2026
The Grand Rapids-Kent County Convention/Arena Authority (CAA), Grand Action 2.0 and Acrisure revealed today that Acrisure Amphitheater’s Grand Opening weekend will feature legendary entertainer and Acrisure Brand Ambassador, Lionel Richie, headlining the first concert on Friday, May 15th. 2026.
Athletic Club Grand Rapids Announced as Team to Play in Amway Stadium
Athletic Club Grand Rapids Unveiled as Name of West Michigan’s MLS NEXT Pro Team.
Grand Action 2.0 hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking this afternoon to kick off construction on the Amway Stadium in downtown Grand Rapids. Construction on the 8,500-seat, $175 million downtown professional soccer stadium is slated for completion in the spring of 2027.
